UniPlanner is a student productivity application developed and operated from Lancaster, UK. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to UniPlanner. You can contact us regarding privacy matters at the email address listed on our website.

When you create an account and use UniPlanner, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your username and any profile details you provide.
  • Schedule and timetable data — courses, classes, and activities you add to your schedule.
  • Tasks and deadlines — tasks you create, including titles, due dates, and completion status.
  • Assessment results — grades and assessment records you log in the Progress section.
  • Usage data — general information about how you use the app, used to improve the service.

We do not collect payment card details directly. Any Pro subscription payments are handled by our payment processor.

3. How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the UniPlanner service
  • Personalise your experience (e.g. surfacing upcoming classes and deadlines on your Dashboard)
  • Process Pro subscription transactions
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send service-related notifications (e.g. deadline reminders, if enabled)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-party services

UniPlanner uses a small number of third-party services to operate, including authentication providers (such as Google OAuth). These providers have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We only share data with third parties where necessary to deliver the service.

  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format (where technically feasible)

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. This will permanently remove all data associated with your account.
