Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 April 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They allow the service to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in, so you do not have to sign in again each time you use the app.

2. How UniPlanner uses cookies

UniPlanner uses a minimal set of cookies, limited to those necessary for the app to function:

  • Session cookie — Used to keep you logged in while you use the app. This cookie is created when you sign in and is deleted when your session ends or you sign out. Without this cookie, you would need to log in on every page visit.
  • Preference cookies — Used to remember your settings within the app, such as your chosen theme. These are stored locally and are not used for tracking.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any cookies that profile your behaviour across other websites.

3. Third-party cookies

If you sign in using a third-party provider such as Google, that provider may set their own cookies as part of the authentication flow. These are governed by the provider's own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

4. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling the session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to UniPlanner. Instructions for managing cookies vary by browser — refer to your browser's help documentation for guidance.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. Updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of UniPlanner after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
